AN IMPERFECT INSTRUMENT

In this viral TEDx talk(an editor's pick of all talks on ted.com,) Jennifer  calls the viola the "middle child of the string instruments." Through a mixture of talk and performance, she offers a compelling meditation on the viola's capacity for emotion-- and for making beautiful music.

This talk became the inspiration for a full-length concert program, premiered at the Philharmonie in Berlin in 2016.
